While checking the error log after upgrading to 1.7.4 pl1 I noticed that the entries don't show the full IP address. It cuts off the last octet and uses a zero instead. See the example entries below.

09 Jun 2018 15:41:42 CDT - 99.116.147.0: SP PHP (return) evaluation return an error - Please check the PHP code embedded in the page

While I am at it, does anyone know what this generic error message means?

When you embed PHP in a static page (and have execute PHP enabled for the page), if there is an error in the PHP code you embedded - it will cause this error to be placed in the error.log file.

The embedded PHP code in a static page is actually evaluated (executed) with a separate PHP interpreter, so it is very difficult to capture any meaningful error messages.

Thanks!

The static page has something to do with equinox_topic_header. It looks like there is a newer version of Equinox for 1.7.4 so I'll see if there is an answer there.

What about the error log cutting off the last octet and using a zero instead?
