When logging in as the root administrator of the site, clicking on the link:

Admin options>configuration>Mail

for SMTP Auth Password it would be a good idea to have it encrypted.

Is it possible to do so? Or would it require a lot of coding?

Sidenote: I tried e107 for a year and was looking for something a little more professional.
After using your portal for a month I find very good integration of modules and plugins as well as sensible layout, keep up the good work! I also noticed that you were very quick in resolving security concerns.

Hi runes,

I think that's a valid point, especially on sites where there is a need to setup more than one user as root. Big Grin

Would you do us a favor and create a Tracker ticket for this? That way it won't get buried in the forums and forgotten about as we work on the next release of glFusion. Wink

Thx!

Eric

I'll add something to the config project about this as well. Support for typed config options is planned so a "password" type makes sense.
