The glFusion Roadmaps serve as a place for developers to update the community on the goals, features, time tables, and progress of their projects. It is not meant to be a place to report bugs or request new features. Please use the glFusion Tracker or the glFusion Forums for that.
If you are a developer or a project director, feel free to add your project to the list and keep the community updated on its progress!

What is glFusion?
glFusion is a powerful system for creating online content. It powers all types of sites from personal blogs to high volume community discussion sites, company intranets, and almost everything in between.
By using a flexible security model, it's possible to serve content granularly to users and groups according to customizable rights and permissions. Because of this, glFusion is an extremely extensible and flexible system, with many potential uses. glFusion is licensed under the terms of the GNU v2 General Public License.
What makes glFusion unique among the vast array of CMS or blog platforms available?
The answer is integration. Rather than develop a small core system, and rely on 3rd party plugins, glFusion gives one a majority of the tools they might need (blog, calendars, forum, file management, media gallery, etc.) in a single robust package. The primary benefit of this development approach is a tight integration between different parts of the system, without having to hunt down 3rd party plugins, make sure they're compatible, go through compatibility pains when one component releases an upgrade, but other parts of the system don't and it breaks, etc.
We figure folks have enough stress in their lives, they don't need more from their CMS!
