Hello !

When I try to Install the Forms Plugin I get the following Error :

PHP Formatted Code

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ')' in /www/htdocs/wxxxxxxf/private/plugins/forms/language/german_utf-8.php on line 74

I have renamed the 'private' folder for obvious reasons.

Can anybody help with this ???

Best Regards
Tony

There's probably an error with some UTF-8 characters in the language file. I think a couple of things will work.

1. Either rename or move the German language files to somewhere else and attempt the installation. I believe that the English language files will then be used.
2. Set your site language to English and try the installation again.

Of course, you'll want to set the language back to German either way, so you'll probably need to look at the files and see what the problem might be. If you can edit the German language files and attach them here, that would be appreciated. I'll see if I can get my editor to work right with them also; maybe I'll be able to see the problem.

It might be simpler. It looks like there's a missing comma. Try the attached files, hopefully they're utf-8 compatible. Just extract them in private/plugins/forms/language.

Hello Lee,

I changed the Language to English, I became the following error :

PHP Formatted Code
An error occurred while attempting to install the plugin. See error.log for details.

Where should look, to find the error.log ?

Hello Lee,

Found the error.log, I'll attach here.

(sorry about the zip file, that is the only way it could be accepted)

Best Regards
Tony

Yes, that looks like the same issue. I hadn't realized it's been so long since the last release; I thought I had updated it.
