Hi, Wizards!

I really like glFusion, but the FileMgt download section leaves me frustrated because I have to write about the download in other places, instead of telling all about it on the Downloads Page itself. So I was looking into hacking it up, when I come across the GeekLog Downloads Plugin (updated Oct, 2011) - Wow, it looks like everything I want, but it just doesn't install, or even show up in the Admin screens when I uploaded it.

The actual Download is described on the download page at at http://www.geeklog.net/filemgmt/index.php/1028 and it even features an IMPORT function to import files from the FileMgt plugin.

The downloads pluhgin is discussed a bit on http://www.geeklog.net/forum/viewtopic. ... opic=91327

So it looks soooo close to working in GLF, but I cannot even see it in Admin to manually install it.

I'm asking for your help in getting this up and running in glFusion. I've made several hacks to GLF, but have never actually made (or adapted) a PlugIn (except jqChat, but that at least showed up in the Plugin Admin).

Right now, I'm thinking I should start with the ZERO plugin, and try to add in all the pieces of the GeekLog Downloads Plugin to get it working on glFusion. Any ideas or advise from you glFusion Wizards will be much appreciated!

That would probably be my approach. Starting with Zero or another simple plugin will familiarize you with the API functions that glFusion uses so you can add & adapt the new plugin as needed.
