I just ran into a problem when someone tried to enter an event with a special character. I was able to figure out that the evList tables were setup as Latin1 tables and not UTF8 tables, the columns are also setup as Latin1. My other glFusion tables are all UTF8 and am unsure if this is something with the install process for evList.

I am working through manually changing all the tables and columns and hopefully that will fix the issues I am having.
