glFusion v1.1.6 Plugin Updates
With the release of glFusion v1.1.6, we are also releasing updates to several key plugins. We continue to audit the source code and fix any coding issues that are found. In some caes we've identified and resolved some potential security issues. The PM Plugin has been enhanced to use the Smiley plugin. The Smiley plugin has been updated to improve integration with the Forum plugin. The remainder of the updates are minor bug fixes uncovered during the source code audits. Read on for all the plugin updates....
Private Message
The Private Message plugin has been updated to fully support glFusion v1.1.6. The primary enhancement for v1.1.0 is full support for the Smiley plugin. We also improved how the speedlimit checks were done and how speedlimit issues are communicated to the user.
evList
evList is an alternative to the calendar plugin that provides a well formed list of events and supports recurring events. This release fixes a few minor bugs, mainly with searching for specific events within a date range.
Chameleon
Chameleon provides a very flexible theme for glFusion that allows you to easily customize your site layout and color scheme. Chameleon v2.1.6 has been updated to work with the necessary template changes implemented in glFusion v1.1.6. Also, a minor bug was fixed that would prevent other plugins from adding their own CSS to the consolidated CSS file.
Tag
The Tag plugin allows you to implement a tag cloud on your site. New in v0.5.2 is improved detection of new or deleted pages that require the tag database to be updated.
SiteMap
SiteMap will generate a Google compatible sitemap.xml file for your site. This release fixes a minor issue where the SiteMap admin links would show on the Command & Control screen for any user with access to C&C, even if they did not have access to administer the SiteMap plugin.
Smiley
This plugin allows you to easily manage emoticons that are used by the Forum plugin and the Private Message plugin. This update fixes some comapitibilty issues with the Forum plugin when using the WYSIWYG editor.
