glFusion v1.1.6 Now Available

We are pleased to announce the release of glFusion v1.1.6.  This release contains a series of small bug fixes and also some additional security protections.  Generally we don't roll out minor releases this quickly, but we are trying to get a good baseline out to the public as we begin to focus on the next major release of glFusion. 

glFusion v1.1.6 brings several small tweaks to the core codebase for better support of legacy plugins, improved error handling, improved support for PHP v5.3.0+, and security improvements to glFusion's cookie handling.  These improvements are not obvious on the surface but they are necessary as we begin to focus on the next major release.

Some minor enhancements are included as well.  RSS 2.0 content feeds will now include the dc:creator attribute to show the authors name.  Tony Kluever has provided a full set of German translations for glFusion and all bundled plugins.  We have added a new autotag, showblock, which allows you to display a glFuison block in any content. For a full list of changes, please see the ChangeLog.

Remember, when upgrading glFusion always run the Upgrade Wizard!
