evList v1.1.4 and GUS v2.0.0 Released

We are pleased to announce the initial release of for glFusion.  evList is a lightweight event manager for glFusion that supports recurring events, event reminders, split events, and many other features.  evList was originally developed for Geeklog and has now been ported to glFusion. Several improvements were implemented during the port to glFusion including, improved performance, integration with the glFusion on-line configuration system and several bug fixes.

We have also released an updated version of .  GUS is the glFusion Usage Statistics plugin that collects stats on your site's usage, page views, etc.  The latest version of GUS brings a few bug fixes and improvements to the caching system to improve reporting performance.

This is very cool.  I've been looking for a way to handle recurring events, including a look at updating the calendar plugin.   For some reason I never ran across evList in my searches.  Thanks for this.

Evlist is awesome - I've actually disabled the calendar plugin on our website and evlist handles all of our events. Thanks so much, glfusion team!

 

Also, GUS is a plugin and not actually Eric. ;-)
